Six steps from first upload to client approval
Each lesson has a short video of the real interface (no staged scenes) and written steps. Videos never autoplay — press play. Academy gathers the lessons with search and watch progress.
1. Upload your first file
- Drag the file onto the upload zone, or click it to choose
MP4, MOV, WAV, or MP3, up to 500 MB per file. You can pick several files at once.
- Watch the progress bar
Uploads are resumable: if the connection drops, pick the same file again and it continues where it stopped.
- Open the project
When it finishes, the project card appears under Recent projects marked Uploaded. Click it to open the studio.
2. Generate and correct the captions
- Choose the clip's language
In the Text tab, Arabic is the default. Set a dialect if you want to hint the transcriber, then press Generate captions.
- Wait for the job
The job shows under Jobs and processing. Minutes are charged up front and refunded automatically if it fails or you cancel it.
- Correct the text in place
Segments appear with their timing. Edit any field, split or merge segments, or fine-tune word timing from Word timing.
- Save
Save captions, or Ctrl/⌘+S. Every save creates a version you can restore from Previous versions.
3. Pick a style and template
- Open the Style tab, then Templates
Click any template to see it on the preview right away. Motion works per word, not per line.
- Adjust the details
Font, size, color, and margin live under Text. Custom fonts uploaded in Settings show up here.
- Don't judge by the preview
The preview is approximate and low-resolution. Export uses the original video's full resolution.
4. Translation and dubbing
- Translate the captions
In the Translate captions section, choose a language and press Translate. The translation appears in its own field under each segment; the original stays untouched.
- Review before publishing
Translation comes from an open language model. Check names and terminology, and edit the field directly.
- Dubbing (beta)
Dub (beta) under the editing tools generates Arabic speech for the translation and needs a translation first. Switch between original and dubbed audio from the preview button, and review the result before approving.
5. Export
- Open the Export tab
Export video burns the captions into an MP4 at the original resolution or 4K. The job shows under Jobs and processing.
- Choose what to export
Original, translation, or both. The same choice applies to the video and to the subtitle files.
- Download the files
SRT and VTT for your editing software, or the ZIP bundle with the import guide. The alpha-channel MOV layer needs its own export job from the tools.
6. Client review
- Create a review link
The Review link button at the top of the studio freezes a snapshot of the captions and creates a link valid for seven days.
- Send the link
Your client needs no account. They watch the captioned video, leave notes tied to the playback position, download the SRT, and approve the version.
- Follow up on the notes
Notes arrive under Reviews in the Export tab. Later edits never change the old link; create a new one after editing.
